Handling Your Deck

Always handle your deck with clean, dry hands. Avoid dropping, bending, or putting heavy objects on the deck. Store it flat or hanging – don’t lean it where it can warp.

Care Instructions

Cleaning & Dusting

Dust regularly with a soft, dry microfiber cloth. Gently wipe in the direction of the graphic. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive pads. Avoid soaking or spraying cleaner directly on it.

Protecting the Art

Keep your deck out of direct sunlight and high-humidity areas like bathrooms. Maintain a safe distance from heat sources and avoid placing sharp objects against the graphic.

Hanging Instructions

01

Choose your spot and height. Stand back and make sure you like the placement.

02

Mark the wall lightly with a pencil where you want the center of the deck.

03

Measure and mark your hardware points based on your hanging kit.

04

Drill pilot holes and insert wall anchors if needed (for drywall or plaster).

05

Install screws, hooks, or brackets according to the hardware instructions.

06

Hang the deck carefully and adjust until it sits straight.

07

Step back, check that it’s level, and gently test that it’s secure.

Follow these steps to safely hang your deck as wall art.

FAQ

Can I skate this deck?

No. MadeByGraham decks are designed as wall art only. Skating them can damage the artwork and hardware.

Can I hang it in a bathroom or garage?

We don’t recommend it. High humidity and big temperature changes can warp the deck and fade the artwork.

What if my deck gets scratched?

Light marks are usually part of living with art. Deep damage can’t be fixed at home, so handle with care.

How do I move it to a new place?

Take the deck down gently, remove or cover old hardware if needed, and repeat the hanging steps on your new wall.
